Making Voting Clear, Simple and Efficient

This October, you will elect 1 mayor, 7 councillors, and 1 school trustee to help guide our community. These leaders make key decisions about growth, investments, and how tax dollars are spent.

 

Required ID and Eligibility Requirements

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS AND ACCEPTABLE FORMS OF ID

All voters must prove their identity and address before voting.

Option 1:  Show one of these pieces

  • BC Driver's License
  • BC Care Card
  • BC Identification Card
  • Certificate of Indian Status

Option 2: Show any 2 of these pieces (one must have your current address)

  • Social Insurance  Number Card
  • Credit Card
  • Township Property Tax Notice
  • ICBC Vehicle Insurance Papers
  • Citizenship Card
  • Birth Certificate
  • Passport
  • Canadian Forces Photo ID
  • Veterans Affairs Canada Health Care ID
  • Property Tax Assessment
