The Township of Spallumcheen is looking to enhance its support of local farmers in the North Okanagan while providing additional opportunities for economic development. The Township received funding from the provincial and federal governments through a grant program administered by the Investment Agriculture Foundation of BC to complete a feasibility study for three parcels located within the South Spallumcheen Industrial Area. The study aims to determine if agri-industry uses can be supported in the area.

As shown in the map below, three parcels of land located in the southeast of Spallumcheen along Highways 97A and 97 is the proposed area for the Agri-Hub. Agri-Hub Feasibility Study
The Township engaged Urban Systems Ltd. and Zbeetnoff Agro-Environmental Consulting Inc. to complete a feasibility study that identifies if agri-industry uses are viable for the study area. The final report is available here: Spallumcheen Agri-Hub Final Report
