Greater Vernon Water in conjunction with Interior Health, the Regional District of North Okanagan (RDNO) advises some customers supplied by Greater Vernon Water that they are on a precautionary Boil Water Notice (BWN) until sampling results confirm the drinking water is safe. The area affected includes Stepping Stones Cres and 360-380 Stepping Stones Rd (see map).
A power outage in the area has resulted in a loss of water pressure for some customers. The RDNO is issuing a precautionary BWN to the affected areas and sampling the water to ensure the continued safety of the water system.
