Recycle BC has advised that the Armstrong Bottle Depot will no longer be accepting Recycle BC program materials which includes mixed paper, cardboard, and mixed containers such as plastics and metal cans.
If you used to take this material to the Armstrong Bottle Depot, Recycle BC in encouraging you to use curbside pick up or facilities in Vernon to continue to recycle these materials:

This change has come about due to staffing constraints for the location.
