Okanagan Aggregates Ltd. (OAL) would like to inform you that from September 15, 2025 to October 31, 2025 road construction will take place on Hwy 97A at the intersection of Smith Dr and from Powerhouse Rd to King Ave. A detour will be in effect during the excavation portion of the work. Northbound traffic will use Mountain View Rd to Back Enderby Rd and southbound traffic will use McLeery Rd to Lansdowne Rd.
Work will be between the hours of 7:00 pm and 7:00 am, Sunday through Friday. No work will be performed on roadways during the long weekends. OAL will utilize single-lane alternating traffic. Traffic delays of up to 20 minutes are expected. OAL will accommodate the passage of emergency vehicles through the work site as safely and expediently as possible.
