The status of the Hullcar Mountain wildfire (K41796) remains as Being Held. This means a wildfire that is projected, based on fuel and weather conditions and resource availability, to remain within the current perimeter, control line or boundary.

On August 11, 2024, the Township of Spallumcheen downgraded the Evacuation Order area to an Evacuation Alert based upon the advice of BC Wildfire. The previous Evacuation Alert area was moved to All Clear status. Please use the interactive map on our website to check your property's status.


 
This fire has not been declared out, so residents on Evacuation Alert should continue to be ready to leave should the situation change.
