 Next Public Hearing Date: December 15, 2025

A Public Hearing will be held in the Council Chambers of the Township of Spallumcheen at 4144 Spallumcheen Way, Spallumcheen, BC on December 15, 2025 at 5:30 p.m. to hear representations on the following matter:

OFFICIAL COMMUNITY PLAN AMENDMENT AND REZONING APPLICATION 22-058-OCP/RZ

The Public Hearing will consider:

a. Official Community Plan Amendment Bylaw 2105, 2023 which proposes to redesignate a portion of the property legally described as:

PID: 028-340-787 – Lot 1, Section 15, Township 35, KDYD, Plan KAP91348, located at 4726 McLeery Road

from: Agricultural (A)
to: Country Residential (CR)

 

and

b. Zoning Amendment Bylaw 2106, 2023 which proposes to amend the bylaw by rezoning maa portion of the property legally described as:

PID: 028-340-787 – Lot 1, Section 15, Township 35, KDYD, Plan KAP91348, located at 4726 McLeery Road

from: Agricultural (A.2)
to: Country Residential (C.R)                                                                                                                                                                

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            

       

Copies of the DRAFT Bylaws may be inspected at the office of the Township of Spallumcheen from December 5th, 2025 to December 15th, 2025 between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding statutory holidays, or by viewing the Public Hearing Binder at https://www.spallumcheentwp.bc.ca/upcoming_public_hearings.htm.

 

PUBLIC HEARING BINDER

 

If you believe that your interest in property is affected by the subject matter above, you shall be afforded an opportunity to be heard at the Public Hearing or to present written submissions respecting matters contained in the proposals. The Township of Spallumcheen will be receiving written and verbal submissions as follows:

Written submissions: via email to mail@spallumcheentwp.bc.ca, regular mail, or delivered in person to the Township office located at 4144 Spallumcheen Way, Spallumcheen, BC, V4Y 0N1. All written submissions should identify the subject as “22-058-OCP/RZ – Public Hearing Input” as the subject of the submission.

*Your name and address must be clearly stated for both verbal and written submissions*

If there is a large number of in-person attendees, Council may recess the Public Hearing to a different venue on a different date.
