A Public Hearing will be held in the Council Chambers of the Township of Spallumcheen at 4144 Spallumcheen Way, Spallumcheen, BC on March 18, 2024 at 5:30 p.m. to hear representations on the following matters:

Temporary Use Permit 24-008-TUP

The applicant is requesting that the operation of a butcher-hub facility be considered as a Temporary Use on a property legally described as  Lot 2 Section 2 Township 7 and Section 35 Township 8 ODYD Plan 35183 Except Plans 35556, KAP54885, KAP74082, and EPP111197 and located at 4305 L&A Cross Road, Spallumcheen, BC. The proposed facility would be limited to an area of 0.15 hectares (0.37acres) within the agricultural (A.2) zoned property.

In accordance with Division 8 – Part 14 of the Local Government Act a Temporary Use Permit may be issued for a maximum period of three years and may be renewed once. Council may specify conditions that the Permittee must follow.

All written submissions should identify the subject as “Temporary Use Permit 24-008-TUP – Public Hearing Input” as the subject of the submission.

 

If you believe that your interest in property is affected by the subject matter above, you shall be afforded an opportunity to be heard at the Public Hearing or to present written submissions respecting matters contained in the proposals. The Township of Spallumcheen will be receiving written and verbal submissions as follows:

Written submissions: via email to mail@spallumcheentwp.bc.ca, regular mail, or delivered in person to the Township office located at 4144 Spallumcheen Way, Spallumcheen, BC, V0E 1B6.

If there is a large number of in-person attendees, Council may recess the Public Hearing to a different venue on a different date.

Copies of the DRAFT Permit may be inspected at the office of the Township of Spallumcheen from March 8, 2024 to March 18, 2024 between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding statutory holidays.   Land Use Contract Discharge Bylaw's 2121 & 2122, 2023

 

The Public Hearing will consider Land Use Contract (Bylaw No. 866) Discharge Bylaw No. 2121, 2023 and Land Use Contract (Bylaw No. 920) Discharge Bylaw No. 2122, 2023 which propose to discharge the Land Use Contracts registered on one or more of the following properties:

a) Lot 1, Plan 29612 (PID: 004-249-160)
b) Lot 2, Plan 29612 (PID: 004-249-186)
c) Lot 3, Plan 29612 (PID: 001-612-263)
d) Lot 1, Plan 29411 (PID: 004-318-552)
