Evacuation Order and Alert areas have been amended. All areas previously on Evacuation Order are now on Evacuation Alert. All previous Evacuation Alerts are now rescinded.

Environment Canada has issued an orange warning for the North Okanagan. More information about current air quality status can be found at their website: https://weather.gc.ca/airquality.
Environment Canada recommends that at-risk populations, children and elderly should avoid outdoor physical exertion. The general population should reduce or reschedule strenuous activities outdoors. The observed Air Quality Health Index is currently posted as 10 for the North Okanagan.
BC Hydro crews have been actively working in the area to assess power services and are hoping to fully restore power to the St Anne’s Road area this afternoon.
