EVACUATION ORDER AND ALERT AREA REMAIN THE SAME
[Spallumcheen, BC – August 2, 2026 18:30] — Evacuation Order and Alert areas remain the same for this evening. The Township will be reassessing Evacuation Alert and Order areas in conjunction with BC Wildfire on August 3. The Township currently has:
- 355 Properties on Evacuation Order
- 387 Properties on Evacuation Alert

Please ensure that you are not entering the Evacuation Zone as crews continue to work addressing hazards in the area. There are several hazards in the area such as downed power lines and unstable trees. Access and egress for fire equipment is critical. Please ensure you are not impeding their ability to move freely.

Reception Centre and Emergency Operation Centre
The reception centre located at Hassan Arena for people evacuated within Spallumcheen will remain open until 8:00 pm this evening; reopening at 9:00am tomorrow.
The Emergency Operations Centre will be standing down for the evening at 6:30 pm and reopening at 9:00 am tomorrow.
