The Township of Spallumcheen in conjunction with Interior Health is rescinding the precautionary Boil Water advisory previously in effect for the Larkin Water Local Area Service effective March 20, 2025.
The Township of Spallumcheen would like to thank residents for their understanding as the Township staff worked to rectify the situation which brought about the Boil Water Advisory on March 12, 2025 due to an unexpected water main break within the Larkin Water Local Area Service. Because of this break, and in an abundance of caution to ensure public safety, a boil water advisory was issued for residents in the entire Larkin Water Area Service. Water quality sampling has been completed and it was confirmed by Interior Health that it is now safe to remove that advisory.
