Residents connected to the Lansdowne Local Area Service are advised of a planned water shutoff scheduled for Friday, May 31, 2024 from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm. The interruption is for repair to a water leak in the system.

Residents are recommended to:
• shut off hot and cold faucets and any equipment that requires water,
• store sufficient drinking water for the anticipated period of interruption,
• isolate the supply to hot water tank,
• fill a bathtub or other large container with water to use for toilet flushing.

After completion of the repair, the system will be flushed which may cause visual changes to your water, such as discolouration, which generally lasts no more than 30 minutes with regular household usage. Please note this is an aesthetic change only and the water remains safe to use.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Please contact the Township of Spallumcheen Public Works Department at (250) 546-3013 if you have any questions.

Tyler McNeill,
Manager of Operations
