At the Tuesday, September 5, 2023 Special meeting of Council, Council of the Township of Spallumcheen released the following details from in camera.
The Township is taking the following legal action regarding a property located at 1615 Reservoir Road:
- issuance of Stop Work Order(s) regarding buildings;
- issuance of Do Not Occupy Notice(s) regarding occupancy of buildings
- proceeding with a civil injunction regarding Official Community Plan, building and land use infractions;
Council further directed staff to notify the public of this information, outlining the Township’s actions with the property located at 1615 Reservoir Road and to inform the public that the legal proceedings will commence to address the property owner’s failure to comply with the Township’s bylaws.
