EVACUATION ORDER AND ALERT AREA REMAIN THE SAME
[Spallumcheen, BC – August 2, 2026] — Evacuation Order and Alert areas remain the same at this time and we continue to assess these areas. Please see attached mapping and refer to the interactive map on our website for detailed addressing information.
Please ensure that you are not entering the Evacuation Zone as crews continue to work addressing hazards in the area. Several hazards in the area such as downed power lines and unstable trees. Access and egress for fire equipment is critical. Please ensure you are not impeding their ability to move.

Water Restrictions
The Township has moved to Stage 3 water restrictions in the South Local Area Service to preserve water for fire fighting purposes
We would like to thank all the Council members and staff for the Township of Spallumcheen, City of Armstrong Council and staff, all emergency crews and volunteers who showed up to assist yesterday. Fire behaviour was changing rapidly and the situation was evolving quickly.
