The Township of Spallumcheen RESCINDED the Evacuation Alert for the whole municipality on Monday, August 9, 2021 at 14:30 hrs

For August 10, 2021, BC Wildfire Service is continuing to report that though the status of the fire is Out of Control, with the current weather conditions, the fire has mostly stalled with no significant growth in size or direction.

It is still a good idea to ensure that you, your family and home are ready in the event that fire behaviour changes and further evacuation alerts or orders become necessary.

Familiarize yourself with a map of your municipality to confirm the information applies to your home. You can click on the map of Spallumcheen below to bring up a bigger, printable version of the image.

You can check the Township of Spallumcheen website for definitions of the difference between an Evacuation Alert and an Evacuation Order as well as how to prepare a 72 Hour kit/ grab and go pack for your home and family.
