Currently you can get updates at Council meetings, on our website, through open houses, Coffee with the Mayor sessions and Round Table meetings as well as in the form of bill stuffers and information posted at the Municipal Hall.

Open Burning Reminder
Open burning of vegetation is allowed from November 1 to April 30. Please ensure you are following the requirements in the Township’s Fire Prevention Bylaw No. 2049, 2021 which can be found on our website under “

The Agri-Hub project, originally spear-headed by the Township, is being supported by the Regional District of North Okanagan (RDNO) Board, who has identified it as a priority item for 2023. The intent of this project is to help increase local food accessibility and processing capacity within the region.
Finance Department

2023 Property Taxes will be sent out near the end of May. Due date is July 4. Don’t forget to claim your homeowner grant (eligibility requirements must be met) through the Province of BC online or by calling 1-888-355-2700 option 3. Claim early to avoid wait times!

2023 Dog Tags are available - have you purchased yours yet?

2023 Business Licences are now due.
Public Works Department
•
Flooding is possible in the spring. As the Township starts to prepare for flooding season, it is also time to start thinking about preparing your yard for spring thaw and the possibility of flooding.

Grading and Graveling is ongoing throughout the Township. Dust control will be underway mid May.
•
Water Utility Service Improvements will begin in the summer of 2023. The Township is improving the water utility service by installing new water meters in nine local service areas.
