The boil water advisory previously in effect has been removed for the Lansdowne water local area service effective 4:30 pm on Friday, February 2, 2024.  The Township of Spallumcheen is notifying residents that in an abundance of caution, the Lansdowne water system has been placed on a boil water advisory. The Township is advising that all water users in the Lansdowne Local Area Service should follow the Centre for Disease Control (CDC) recommendations related to boil water advisories.

Road Closure on Lansdowne Road now complete

UPDATE 10:45 pm - Crews were able to open the road and temporarily restore water service at 10:45 pm last evening. Water repairs will re-commence at 8am tomorrow and water will be shut off while crews continue to repair the leaks in the area. At this time it is projected the road will remain open.  Crews have been working on Lansdowne Road to repair a water main leak.
