Goose Lake Range Park Access Road - Dust Control and Temporary Road Closure

The Township of Spallumcheen would like to advise residents that the Regional District of North Okanagan (RDNO) will be undertaking dust control measures on the access lane to Goose Lake Range Park on May 20, 2026. As part of the ongoing review of traffic control measures in the area, the Township of Spallumcheen, in conjunction with the Regional District of North Okanagan (RDNO), will be installing speed bumps along the access lane to Goose Lake Range Park on June 3, 2026, weather dependent. Any delays of this work due to weather will be posted on our website and signage will be posted in the area.

Pool Opening Delayed to Friday, May 22

The pool opening has been delayed by approximately one week due to an unexpected equipment repair identified during seasonal startup. Staff will be completing the required repairs and finalizing annual staff training before the facility opens to the public. The opening is currently anticipated for Friday, May 22 , 2026.

NOTICE - Greater Vernon Water - Boil Water Notice

STEPPING STONES CRES AND 360-380 STEPPING STONES RD In conjunction with Interior Health, the Regional District of North Okanagan (RDNO) advises some customers supplied by Greater Vernon Water that they are on a precautionary Boil Water Notice (BWN) until sampling results confirm the drinking water is safe. The area affected includes Stepping Stones Cres and 360-380 Stepping Stones Rd. A power outage in the area has resulted in a loss of water pressure for some customers. The RDNO is issuing a precautionary BWN to the affected areas and sampling the water to ensure the continued safety of the water system.
