Pursuant to Local Government Act (LGA) Section 464(2) a local government is not required to hold a public hearing on a proposed zoning bylaw if:
a. an official community plan is in effect for the area that is the subject of the zoning bylaw, b. the bylaw is consistent with the official community plan
As the proposed bylaw amendments meet the above provisions, notice is hereby given that a public hearing will not be held relating to Zoning Text Amendment Bylaw 2193, 2026.
To comply with the legislative requirements contained in Bill 16, Zoning Text Amendment Bylaw 2193, 2026 proposes to delete, in it’s entirety, Section 1301.2.h., which includes density bonusing provisions related to cluster subdivisions.
